Meetings, conventions, special events and tour business are responsible for a great deal of hotel business and catering to these segments requires specialized management skills and focus. This course covers the skills required by management in the meetings, conventions and special events areas and the particular requirements of these industry groups. The packaging, planning and execution of these product segments will be examined from a marketing and operational perspective.
